In case of cancellations, the following conditions would apply:

  • Notice of less than 55 days – 75% will be refunded
  • Notice of less than 30 days – 50% will be refunded
  • Notice of less than 15 days – no refund

Day 01

Chandigarh - Kufri (138 kms / 4 Hrs Drive)

Arrive at Chandigarh airport & transfer to Kufri.
Meet & greet by our representative at Chandigarh airport & drop to Kufri hotel.
Overnight stay in Kufri.

Day 02

Kufri – Kalpa 2,960 mtrs (9,711 ft) (210 kms / 7-8 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast check-out from Kufri & drive towards Kalpa.
Kalpa is a small village of king Kamal Negi Sutlej river valley, above Reckong Peo in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, Northern India, in the Indian Himalaya.
Inhabited by Kinnauri people and known for its apple orchards. Apples are a major cash-crop for the region.
Overnight stay in Kalpa.

Day 03

Kalpa - Sangla – Chitkul 3,450 mtrs (11,320 ft) (60 kms x 3 - 3 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast proceed to explore sangla valley.
Visit chitkul (61 kms from kalpa). Chitkul is a village in kinnaur district of himachal pradesh. It is the last inhabited village near the indo-china border. The Indian road ends here. During winters, the place mostly remains covered with the snow and the inhabitants move to lower regions of himachal. Have lunch at sangla and proceed to kalpa.

Day 04

Kalpa - Tabo 3,050 mtrs (10,000 ft) (161 kms - 5 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast check-out from hotel & drive towards Tabo.
Tabo is situated on the left bank of river Spiti. Flanked on either side by hills, it is one most important Buddhist monasteries regarded by many as only next to the Tholing Gompa in Tibet. It is also known as the Ajanta of the Himalayas.
Tabo is the largest monastic complex of Spiti which has since been declared a protected monument under the archaeological survey of India.
Enroute confluence of Sutlej & Spiti rivers at Khab. Further proceed to Tabo. On the way visit geu village where the 500 yrs old mummy of Tibetan monk has been displayed.

Day 05

Tabo – Kaza (3600m) (48 kms 2 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast check-out from Tabo & drive towards Kaza.
Visit Tabo monastery – Ajanta of Himalayas. After breakfast drive to Dhankar monastery, the old capital of Spiti valley, Dhankar a big village once residence of The king of Spiti on the hill you see his fort. Also today about 100 monks are living in the dhankar monastery, still an important monastery, with important scriptures, sculptures, frescoes, statues.

Day 06

Kaza 3,800 mtrs (12,450 ft) (B. L. D.)

After breakfast proceed to Langza (village), Hikkim (highest post office), Komic (highest village in the world)
Langza village situated at an altitude of 4400 meters (14,432 ft) is divided into 2 sections, namely Langza Yongma (lower) and Langza Gongma (upper). This Homogeneous Buddhist village belongs to the Sakyapa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Langza houses a population of 137 in 33 households. The mainstay of this village in the olden days was mud craft. Vessels of all shapes and sizes were roduced here and supplied to the entire valley for household use. This craft has dwindled over the ages and the current mainstay is primarily to agriculture. The village is adorned by an ancient lang (temple) estimated to be around 1000 years old. The lang is regarded as the headquarters of all the devtas (deities) of the spiti valley.
Hikkim village one of the highest year-round inhabited locations in india, with residences from 4330 to 4400 meters. Komic village two km to the southeast has Residences up to 4520 meters.
After lunch proceed to Kibber village (world’s highest inhabited village with a drivable road and electricity), Kee monastery (Spiti valley’s biggest monastery), Kaza monastery and Kaza market up to sunset.

Day 07

Kaza - Chandratal Lake (80 kms / 7-8 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast proceed to Chandratal Lake.
Chandra Tal (meaning the lake of the moon), or Chandra Tal, is situated at an altitude of about 4,300 metres (14,100 ft) in the Himalayas. Mountains of scree Overlook the lake on one side, and a magnificent cirque presents a view on the other. The name of the lake originates from its crescent shape. Situated in the Spiti part of the Lahul and Spiti district.
On the way visit Kunzum pass. Kunzum pass (15,000 ft), is a high mountain pass in the eastern Kumzum range of Himalayas. It connects Lahaul valley and Spiti valley. It is on the route from Kaza of Spiti valley to Gramphoo in Lahaul valley.
Overnight stay in Chandratal.

Day 08

Chandratal Lake – Manali 2,050 mtrs (6,724 ft.) (140 kms - 8 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast, check-out from hotel & drive towards Manali.
Drive to Manali via Atal Tunnel.

Day 09

Manali to Prashar Lake (101 km / 3 Hrs Drive) Prashar Lake - Bilaspur (110 kms / 4 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast check-out from Manali & drive towards Bilaspur.
On the way visit Prashar lake. Located at an altitude of 2730 mtr, lies 49 km east of mandi, Himachal Pradesh, India, with a three storied pagoda-like temple dedicated to the sage Prashar.
The lake is considered sacred to the sage Prashara, who meditated here back then. The temple was built in the 13th century by raja ban sen of mandi in honor of the sage and thus, considering the Hmachali architecture, the lake was named after him.

Day 10

Bilaspur to Chandigarh (143 kms / 4 Hrs Drive)

Breakfast at hotel.

Later drive towards airport to board the train for your onward journey.
