DAY 01

Srinanagar - Daksum (100 Kms - 3 Hrs Drive)

Arrive at Srinagar Airport, (this must be one of the most scenic flights in the world, Srinagar is popularly known as the “city of Reshi’s & Sufi’s” and it is also the summer capital of state Jammu & Kashmir), you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Daksum. Daksum is also famous for its trout - an angler's heaven.
Daksum at 2,438 meters is located in dense forest. This scenic spot falls on the anantnag sinthan kishtwar road where a gushing stream is rich in trout fish. The Surrounding forests of Daksum are famous for flora and fauna. Overnight in Daksum.

DAY 02

Sinthan Top Local Sightseeing

After breakfast leave for sinthan top day trip. Sinthan top is the highest pass connecting kashmir with jammu via kishtwar. Daksum swathed in coniferous green forests is trekkers paradise. The curvy uphill drive from Daksum to Sinthan top is pretty thrilling and adventurous. Sinthan top is popular for the 360 degrees view and year round snow. DAY 03

Daksum - Pahalgam - Srinangar (120 Kms - 3 Hrs Drive)

Check-out from Daksum & drive to Pahalgam. The “Pahalgam” is called “valley of shepherds” Enroute visit Pampore saffron fields. Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag lake and the Lidder river, Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd's village with breathtaking views.
Enjoy nature & walk around the bank of river lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for amarnath pilgrimage. Pahalgam Is also famous in the indian film industry (bollywood). Now it is Kashmir's premier resort, cool even during the height of summer when the maximum temperature does not exceed 25 degree c.
Upon arrival, check in to the pre-arranged hotel. After fresh up we will leave for full day free to enjoy and explore the beauty of “Pahalgam”(on own – by union vehicle) . One can go to Aru (10 kms from Pahalgam) which is a fine meadow of picturesque scenery and starting point of trekking of (Liddarwat, Kolahoi Glacier & Trsar lake), Betaab valley & Chandanwari (16 kms from Pahalgam) which is the starting point of Amarnath yatra . And you can go for a visit to Baisaran Valley / Mini Switzerland.


Aru Valley
It is located around 12 km from Pahalgam, 11 km upstream from the lidder river. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies on the left bank of the Aru river, which is a tributary of the lidder river the Aru valley is noted for its scenic meadows. It is popular among the tourists for its peaceful environment and scenic beauty. Other popular tourist activities include fishing for trout in the lidder river, trekking, hiking, horse riding, sightseeing and photography.
Betaab Valley
It is situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol– Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation. Betaab valley is a very popular tourist destination. Betaab valley is also a favorite campsite of Travellers as it also serves as a base camp for trekking and further exploration of the mountains. The valley is a walk-able distance from Pahalgam. The crystal clear & chilly water of the stream bubbling down from the snowy hills is a delight; locals here drink this water too.
Chandanwari
Chandanwari - situated 16 km from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, which takes place every year in the month of Sawan (rain). It is famous for snow sledding on a snow bridge. Taxi cabs can be hired from Pahalgam for a roundtrip. Snow fights" is what people generally indulge in here before they sledge back down. Many prefer to sip a cup of tea or snack at the nearby Dhabas. Hajan, on the way to Chandanwari is an idyllic spot for a picnic. Filmgoers will Recognize it instantly as it has been the location of several movie scenes.

DAY 04

Srinagar - Sonmarg - Shrinagar (170 Kms - 4.5 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg.
Sonmarg (2800 mtrs above sea level), which means 'Meadow of Gold' has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh meanders along here And abounds with trout and mahseer, snow trout can be caught in the main river. The visitors can have access to snow which is furnished all over like a white carpet. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas Glacier a major attraction during the summer months.

DAY 05

Shrinagar - Gulmarg - Shrinagar (104 Kms - 3 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg.
Enroute you get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. Arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon. Later, begin a short tour, boarding the Gondola Cable Car system (the 08 minutes’ ropeway). Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and later indulge in some horse-riding.

DAY 06

Srinagar Local

After breakfast proceed for Srinagar local.
Nishat Garden:
Located on the bank of the dal lake, with the Zaberwan mountains as its backdrop,Nishat Bagh is a garden of bliss that commands a magnificent view of The lake beneath the snow-capped Pir Panjal mountain range that stands far away to the west of the valley. The Bagh was designed and built in 1633 by Asif Khan, elder brother of Nur Jehan.
Shalimar Garden:
The Shalimar Bagh is the celebrated royal garden of Kashmir. The emperor Jahangir was so fascinated with the garden that he called it "One of the Sights of kashmir. "Shalimar bagh is located on the northeast side of lake dal, approximately fifteen kilometers away from the center of srinagar. It was laid out by Jahangir as Farah Baksh ("The delightful") in 1619, while he was founding the city of Srinagar.
Chashme Shahi:
Cheshma Shahi (The Royal Spring), also called Cheshma Shahi, is one of the Mughal gardens built around a spring by Ali Mardan, a Governor of Mughal Emperor shah jahan, in 1632. The garden is located in the Zaberwan Range, near Rajbhawan (Governor‘s House) overlooking dal lake in Srinagar, Kashmir. Also visit Tulip Gardens and Shankaracharya temple and some shopping in Srinagar.

DAY 07

Departure
