Itinerary
DAY 01
Mumbai - Srinagar - Sonamarg
Arrive Srinagar transfer to Sonamarg (93 kms / 3 hrs). Reach Hotel at Sonamarg at 4 pm. Relax. O/n at Sonmarg. Meal Plan : Lunch & Dinner
DAY 02
Sonamarg – Trespone Valley (137 Kms / 5 hrs)
After breakfast enroute Zojila Pass, Glimpses of Tiger Hill & Tololing Hills. visit Kargil War Memorial to pay homage to our War Heroes, and further drive to Trespone. O/n at Trespone. Meal Plan : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
DAY 03
Trespone – Padum (12,037 ft) (215 Kms/ 9-10 hrs)
Post breakfast, drive to Padum (Zanskar). Enroute visit Pensi La. As almost all the villages in Ladakh Padum has a small monastery on a hill top called Stakrimo monastery, on the way, visit Karsekar village to view the giant rock carved Buddha belonging to 960 AD, later leave for Padum, enroute have a magnificent view of Nun Kun Peak and Dran Drung Glacier. O/n at Padum. Meal Plan : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 04
Padum – Karsha – Zangla – Stongde – Padum (approx.. 100 kms)
Post breakfast we will ride to visit the Karsha monastery, a medieval oasis of peace and an important center of the Buddhist faith, This Gelukpa monastery is the largest of Zanskar. Further heading out to the Stongde monastery, which overlooks the Zanskar River from a rocky outcrop – a special highlight of our tour and the castle of Zangla towering on a mountain ridge above the village. O/n at Padum. Meal Plan : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 05
Padum – Rangdum – Trespone (215 Kms/ 7-8 hrs)
Breakfast at Hotel.

Please prepare a small bag for 1 night in Hiroshima (Other Luggage will be delivered to your hotel in Osaka.)
Assemble at hotel lobby anMorning after breakfast, drive back towards Kargil via Rangdum Monastery. O/n at Trespone. Meal Plan : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 06
Trespone - Aryan Valley – Kargil (160 Kms/ entire day)
After breakfast, drive to Hunderman (a Border village). Proceed to dah. Aryan valley via Kargil main town and Humbutingla Pass (13,307 ft) by same route. A cultural programme at one of the villages with local lunch. Visit Garkon and Darchiks Villages and drive back to Kargil O/n at Kargil. Meal Plan : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 07
Kargil – Sonamarg (123 km / 3 hrs.)
After early breakfast drive Sonamarg. After Sonamarg, if time permits visit Thajiwas Glacier. Thajiwas Glacier is located 2.3 kilometers approx. from Sonamarg, and can be reached by taking a 30 minutes hike. Ponies are also available for hire from Sonamarg. O/n at Sonamarg. Meal Plan : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 08
Sonamarg – Srinagar Airport (101 km / 3 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Srinagar Airport to board afternoon flight to Mumbai. Meal Plan : Breakfast, Lunch
